Dr. Gizem Arslan received her bachelor’s degree in Law from Istanbul University in 2003, a master’s degree in International Trade Law and European Union from Istanbul Commerce University in 2007, and a doctoral degree in Private Law from Istanbul University in 2018.
She was a visiting scholar at St. Mary’s University in Texas during her postgraduate studies on strict liability for abnormally dangerous activities in American Law of Torts.
Dr. Arslan was a lawyer registered with Istanbul Bar Association for several years and worked as a project coordinator and project consultant in a various culture, tourism, and entrepreneurship projects funded by the European Union. She has been a lecturer since 2019, and her research focuses on liability in Turkish and American law.
