Civil Law is the branch of law covering a person’s primary private law relations from before birth to after the end of their personality. Civil Law deals with legal problems that a fetus may encounter, as well as the acquisition of natural personality by birth or legal personality by incorporation, formation of family and its effects, entrance into obligation relations by persons, acquisition of movable and immovable properties, possession over such properties, holding land registry records and distribution of legacies to the relatives. Law of obligations, a branch of Civil Law, regulates relations between persons.
